Monday 21st June 2021 is national 'Ride to Work Day' by the Motorcycle Action Group (MAG).

The campaign message is that motorcycles can be part of the solution to current transport problems - not part of the problem.

For many, cycling and walking can be the natural choice for local everyday journeys, but where active travel isn’t feasible, using powered-two-wheelers for commuting and local trips reduces congestion, pollution, CO2 emissions and parking issues. 

During the pandemic, motorcycling is more COVID secure than car sharing or using public transport and a cost effective transport option.

Safety is critically important, so ongoing development of awareness and riding skills must always be on every rider's agenda. Motorcycling is a skill for life and like any skill, it needs to be practised, honed and developed.
